Research
Research is a fundamental component of all paediatric disciplines. The CRC's research has an exciting new agenda and challenge to meet in order to continue its historic contribution to paediatric knowledge and in trying to solve the mysteries of childhood illness and disease.
We are structured to promote partnerships and collaborations in order to maximise our potential and to provide satisfaction by way of return to the many volunteers and donors who provide the funds that enable our team to compete in international fora and to contribute to the relief of families distressed by illness.
Our principal investigators develop and lead research initiatives designed to explore the molecular basis of disease in laboratories in our Research Centre or by conducting clinical research in our hospital and throughout the country.
