How can we Help?

Our aim at the National Children’s Research Centre is to facilitate research into childhood illnesses.  We are structured to promote partnerships and collaborations in order to maximise the potential of all research funding awarded.  To foster research in the area of paediatric research, we can provide, through our management of funding provided by the Children’s Medical Research Foundation

  • seed funding  to help get a research project or collaboration started
  • research project grants particularly within our identified themes
  • funding and oversight for MD/PhD/ and MSc programmes
  • assistance/support in attaining grants from other funding agencies
  • through our purchased time with CSTAR (Centre for support and training in analysis and research), we can provide applicants and researchers with access to biostatistical and methodological advice.
  • assistance in conducting a study at the Paediatric Clinical Research Unit
  • state of the art laboratory research facilities for grant holders and their staff
